Who we are
PROMPTASIA Studios ("PROMPTASIA", "we", "us") is a curated production network connecting brands with AI-native filmmakers across Africa. You can reach us at hello@promptasiastudios.com.
What we collect
Project briefs. When you send us a brief we collect your name, email address, company or brand name, project details, timeline, budget range and any files you choose to attach. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and, if you go ahead, to plan and deliver your project.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we measure how visitors use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, approximate location and session recordings with form inputs masked. We also record anonymous events when someone clicks "Start a brief" or submits the brief form, so we can see which parts of the site turn visitors into leads. If you reject analytics, none of this is collected.
Your consent record. We store your cookie choice, the time you made it and the version of the notice you saw, in your browser, so we can respect it.
How we use your information
- To reply to your brief and communicate with you about your project.
- To match your project with a suitable creator from our network.
- To measure and improve the site, only if you have accepted analytics.
- To meet legal or contractual obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Brief form submissions are delivered to us through a third-party form service. Attachments are stored in secure file storage and shared with you and our team through download links that expire after 7 days. Analytics data is processed on our behalf by a third-party analytics provider for site measurement and improvement. Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep brief inquiries for as long as needed to handle your project and our business relationship, and no longer than necessary. Attachment download links expire after 7 days. Analytics data is kept according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings.
Your rights and choices
- You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing stops measurement immediately.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can complain to your local data protection authority if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.

Security
We use reputable service providers and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to people who need it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
